Etsy Cat Toy Roundup
Luna and I have been mining the mountain that is Etsy in search of the greatest kitty cat toys available so far in 2013. The following have met our exacting standards:

1. The TuxandTabby House Cat Box contains everything you need to keep him happy. The toys are made with high quality British wool, catnip and jingle bells and the packaging is adorably Alice in Wonderland-y. Luna also highly recommends a window for your indoor kitty. With a view of birds. Was that a bird?
2. Frosted Donuts with Sprinkles and Catnip made by FidotheCat. With Luna's penchant for cakes and cookies (seriously, she will try to steal them directly from your mouth) she absolutely loves this combination of her favourite things: Pastry, Catnip and something squishy to MURDER.
3. Also on the human-food-related front is the Meowadays Catnip spiked Sushi toy set. Your kitteh can haz some sashimi of their very own. Be sure to serve with chopsticks!
4. Is your kitty a fan of Nemo? Or does she want to chew his face off? Either way this Clown Fish catnip cat toy from CindysThreadCraft will fulfill your cat's Nemo-loving needs! Adorable!
5. I sometimes think Luna is from space, so this felted catnip filled UFO Alien Spaceship toy from Mycrobe should make her feel at home. Maybe she can communicate with the mothership: Beep-bop-boo-bo-meow.
Scratch in Style with Modko
Another great minimal piece of kitty furniture you and your cat will love. The Lui and Vigo scratch loungers from Modko are both pretty and functional. Can't beat that when it comes to kitty as we all know cats are notorious snobs. Check out Luna's current favourite lounge spots on our about page. Who knew an iPad could be so comfy?
Minimal Kitty DIY Cat Play House
I have an aversion to most cat furniture. Just because I love little Luna lou doesn't mean that I'm willing to put up with an unsightly cat tree or scratching post in my living space. Check out this awesome minimal cat play house diy from Lowes. It's simple, modern and looks super easy to make. Click through for the video how-to.
Catnip Snakes
These look like something Lou would love. Catnip plus something long and wiggly, two of her most favourite things! They come in cute colours too, not your typical pet toys.

Ikea for Kitty
The Ikea PS Gullhomen Rocking Chair and Alseda banana fibre stool were Luna's predecessor's favourite scratching post slash kitty beds. The Gullhomen chair acts as a stretching scratch post, a bed to sit on and a kitty cave due to the hole in the back as illustrated here:

Minimal! Natural! Pretty!
Luna never loved it, so they have long since been off to the Craigslist fairies.
Lou's one and only scratchy-love is the SmartCat Bootsie's Combination Scratcher
*. It's tough enough to handle her aggressive affections!

Lou would love this! It might actually give her enough to do that she isn't constantly begging for attention in the mornings. Or.. not. I think we need to get her another kitten as a companion. Yay for reasons to get more kitteh in our lives, but boo for too little space. We shall see how it goes.
Cat Hats
These crocheted kitty cat hats from xmoonbloom are so cute, I had to post them all. I would have such a hard time deciding which to buy. I think the monster is my favourite. Or the classic bear. Or the fantastical unicorn. They also sell the crochet patterns if you are craftily inclined so you can make them yourself. Adorable!
